LEAH’S STYLE: I have a simple constant changing style with a classic twist.



INSPIRATION: Everyday people inspire me more than famous designers.  I draw most of my inspiration from the unique styles of random people I see walking around in the city as well as other bloggers.

HERO: My parents are my heroes.  I’m originally from Taiwan.  After working as an Assistant Buyer for a couple of years, I decided to move to New York to further my education at F.I.T.  My parents have been very supportive of my dream in pursuing fashion both financially and emotionally.  I can’t thank them enough! 

HEELS OR FLATS? Both! I can’t live without either one!  I believe a nice pair of heels is the perfect compliment to any outfit.  However, you never know when you’ll get stuck in a sun-shower, or have to run down a flight of subway steps to catch your train, so I always carry a pair of flip flops in my bag just in case! ;)

FAVORITE SUMMER TRENDS: I’ve fallen in love with studs - from studded shoes, to studded blouses, to even studded bags.  I love how they can be paired with jeans for a casual look as well as blazers and pants for chic edgy look.  I’m also a fan of whites and neon colors.  Neon colors just bring a smile to my face and whites will always be my go to classic for its simplicity and elegance.   

SUMMER LOVIN: I’ve been working for Rebecca Minkoff and freelancing some projects on the side.  I’ve also been busy maintaining my Taiwanese bilingual blog, along with my English blog Lipstick Catwalk. I enjoy going to the shore to tan on weekends and taking advantage of what NYC has to offer.  I’m particular fond of the MOMA, I go almost every month to check out their new features and exhibits.  The one thing I’ve been sporting all summer will have to be my pair of basic sandals from Zara…I just can’t get enough of Zara!
